Tourmaline comes in a variety of colours and it was discovered in Italy in the late 1600’s early 1700’s. A mine in Brazil has produced a vibrant blue and green Tourmaline which was coloured by copper. Tourmaline can become electrically charged when rubbed and squeezed. Watermelon Tourmaline is green on the outside and pink on the inside. It is said to help with stress and trauma. It also promotes love and sympathy.
